Starwood Hotels Netherlands runs in the Wheel of Energy

Starwood Hotels & Resorts the Netherlands ran for charity in the Wheel of Energy with over 92 employees. This happened on Wednesday, May 11th through Thursday, May 12th. By means of shifts the Wheel kept in motion for 24 hours.

THE HAGUE, May 2011 - This sporty affair began after a spectacular opening act with percussion. During the 24 hours on the Wheel, the participants enjoyed listening to music, and afterwards refreshed themselves at the specially created "refreshment center". Also, the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel team took care of nutritious food and cold drinks for 24 hours.

In addition to the active participation in this charity event, the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center sponsors the Wheel of Energy365 for one year. They do this by offering the shower facilities at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel to anyone who participated in the Wheel of Energy.

Since October 2010, The Wheel of Energy is located on the Jan Dellaertplein, in front of the main entrance of Schiphol Plaza. With this initiative, initiator Richard Bottram hopes to gain a lot of support and sponsors, who all want to work on a better future where cancer will no longer be a major player. Contributions to this charity can be given by running in the Wheel of Energy, donating money, buying your own WoE-Gadget or by signing the World Cancer petition on the website of Wheel of Energy365.
