HISTORIC OFFICIAL WEDDING LOCATION
In 1858, Baron Van Brienen had a party palace built on the distinguished Lange Voorhout, complete with a magnificent ballroom and luxurious private and guest quarters. When the building became Hotel Des Indes in 1881, this chic lodge became the scene of exclusive galas and banquets. Over 140 years later, Hotel Des Indes is still the epitome of Hague elegance and grandeur with a guest book that includes the illustrious names of kings, emperors, maharajas, movie stars and presidents.
This former city palace is an official wedding venue and, with its opulent décor, is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. So perfect, in fact, that Princess Juliana chose to celebrate her engagement to Prince Bernard at Des Indes while still having a few other impressive palaces at her disposal.
CULINARY
A highlight of any wedding is the traditional cutting of the wedding cake. Whether you have chosen your own wedding cake or have our pastry chef create a masterpiece, one thing is for sure, this joyful moment will be a precious memory of this special day for both you and your guests.
Our Chef will be happy to provide the culinary framework for your wedding. During the reception, we serve your chosen range of drinks and savoury snacks in our Salons, the Balzaal or the cosy Rotonde overlooking the Des Indes Lounge. We like to surprise your guests with a walking dinner, a lavish buffet or a served three- or four-course dinner. Whatever you choose, Restaurant Des Indes delivers the culinary quality and gastronomic experience your guests expect.
YOUR WEDDING NIGHT
The day you have been looking forward to for so long will leave you with beautiful impressions. WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The renowned French interior decoration architect Jacques Garcia has redesigned, in 2005, the interior of Hotel Des Indes. In his classic design with a touch of modernity, the beautiful historical details of this iconic building have been preserved. The eye-catching interior provides the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot.
Couples pose on the wide stately steps that open onto the Des Indes Lounge, but there are countless other places that provide the ideal backdrop for the perfect picture. Capture your special event at an exclusive world-class location.
On Saturdays and Sundays, there is no opportunity for bridal reports.
